Examples: Ravneet Ricky- played 91 domestic matches and counting for Punjab with an average of roughly 40 as an opener, a position India really needs a player in, Dheeraj Jadhav- played 50 first class matches for Maharastra with an average of 53, once again an opener, Ranadeb Bose- Bengali pacer who played more than 90 matches taking more than 200 wickets with an average less than 28.00, Amol Muzumdar- played more than 200 matches for Mumbai with a first class batting average of 51 and List-A limited overs average of 41.

Selection of the team is based on current performance and not past performance. By the way, it is not clear as to which India International Team Ishant Sharma has been selected.

its up to the selectors and if they think their desicion is right then so be it
