I do it all the time, was in Germany for 4 years, my home is where the Army sends me. My original home NJ, I havent been there in 10 years now, and I dont ever plan on going back. I like where im at now.... it was hard at first to leave my town I grew up in, but seeing the world is nice.

I think so, i dont get homesick. I was once away from home for nearly a month and it felt great... but then again a month compared to 3 years is a big difference.

No, I would love to be able to just stay in my home and not have to go out and earn a living! And to be away for 3 years would be unthinkable for moi!
