At home with someone who likes the same films as me preferably male and is there to explain somthing to me incase i miss somthing!!
I love my DVDs and at home is much more comfy then in the cinemar.
I enjoy all types of films but not a fan of the chick flicks as they bore me oh and mission impossible and james bond I aint got the time for either.
Couldn't tell you my favourate film as it would be too hard but very little beats sitting at home with a beer and a few snacks-not popcorn- with someone and just enjoying a movie and the company!
I do have to be in the mood for a certain film I cant just watch one because its there.
How about you??

I love watching films in the cinema for the experience and as an excuse to go out with my friends. It is expensive though - especially the food! If I'm at home I definitely have to be in the right mood to watch a film otherwise I'll just get bored halfway through and switch off whereas in a cinema I won't do that because I've paid good money. Salted popcorn and a Coke are a must. The portions are huge though. Once I ordered a large Coke and a large popcorn and because I'm short, my friend said she could just see two feet walking with a giant bag of popcorn and cup of Coke!

DVD - other people ruin the movie experience. I prefer to either watch a film alone, or with someone who understands not to interrupt me ever 3 minutes to ask whats going on! I'd rather not talk when a film is on, and I tend not to pause very often. Nibbles are okay, but only if you don't need to concentrate on them - I like to watch films that you get so totally engrossed in that you don't want to look away for a second. Lights should be off completely, and there should be no noise or other distractions. I tend to pick films specific to my mood - if I'm feeling down I won't usually watch a happy film. But there are some films that you can watch no matter what you are feeling and appreciate them.
And, its always best if you've got someone lovely to snuggle up while the films on!

For me, the cinema or DVD will suffice! But I'm more the DVD person. There are only two things I want when watching a film.
1. A nice cold beer
2. A packet of crisps to enjoy munching on!
A DVD is better to watch, you get to see all the extra bits they shove in there! Not just the film.

I prefer to watch a DVD at home, curled up with my boyfriend with the fire on and the lights dimmed, loads of nibbles and a couple of glasses of wine.
At the cinema my bum gets numb and I usually have someone with very large hair in front of me or some stupid git rustles all the way through the movie.

I gotta work my *** off at work or school like doing some intense physical or mental strain, then when no one's around is the perfect time for a good fictional or fantasy genre film, especialy of the Crime Drama genre to escape. It's perfect cause I remember every detail and it seems more realistic after I've suffered through the real thing. Realy gets me into the mind of the charachters.
My favorites are Scarface, the Untouchables, or the Matrix

Great question! I'm always watching movies. I like a movie theatre, mainly to hear the public's reaction on certain themes or punch lines. I also enjoy the popcorn with hot butter poured over it, a hotdog with mustard and relish, or a dill pickle and a soda.
I also like it at home. It's more relaxing, you have more control of the pace of the movie. You can pause to do "things", and it's cheaper.
Either one is fine with me, but I would prefer the theatre because of the public's reaction and the choice of treats.

I even have felt this way in the previous too, and it befell after observing The Truman prepare action picture. i began out attempting to act a definite way b/c i presumed human beings have been observing my each and every pass. the spectacular feeling went away after a at the same time as, yet I nonetheless think of roughly it now and lower back. i'm undecided if it has an unquestionably call or prognosis, yet unquestionably see a specialist for it. It sounds to be like some sort of paranoia and rigidity.

If it is a big screen film like Lord Of The Rings I want to see it in the cinema.
Mostly though I prefer a dvd in my home cinema on my own with a big fat joint.
Can't beat it.
