Personally, I believe that he is better as a heel, and although we never got to see much of Randy Orton a face (both his times as face didn't last long) and I hope to see him as one soon, he is one of the best heel wrestlers in a long time. In fact, I believe he is the best heel wrestler, and plays the best heel, since Triple H. I hope that answers that question. Oh, and Machinedown, you could not be more wrong about his ability, you obviously didn't watch him much in 2003, 2004, and 2005, where people like Bret Hart and Sting were complementing him about his wrestling ability. The reason he doesn't do that many moves is the same reason why Edge doesn't, and that is so they can sell the face characters and not over show them. If you don't believe me watch is Intercontinental Match against RVD at Armageddon, his match against Chris Benoit at Summerslam 2004, and his match against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 21.

He is better as a heel definitely. That and WWE doesn't know what do to with him really as a baby face. Remember the feud with Triple H back in late 2004 and early 2005? That was bad and awkward.

heel, he has a pretty boy jock personality and is overly cocky. His moves aren't that great, but he is getting better. Your moves don't have to be very good to be a heel. He cuts very good promos that make people just hate him.

as a heel, he's actually more popular than as a face. he has that cocky i'm better than all of you and i can prove it attitude. it plays well as a heel. he';s just like his dad and that's a compliment.
