I heard that their are some things you can do to lessen the amount of blood in your period. Does anyone know some?

Nothing particularly healthy. Your body is programmed to build up that amount of blood, so the only way to decrease the amount is to decrease nutrition or blood suppy in general.

Hate to say it, but a heavy period is something ya just have to deal with.

your period is a natural cleanser for your body. please consider this before taking anything to lessen it.
birth control pills lessen the days and the amount of your period.

the pill. it makes your period light. i only have to use pantyliners nowadays because the flow is so light that it can't even fill a regular tampon even worn for 6-8 hours.

from my wife: talk to your gyno about a certain type of contraception (i forgot the name) which lightens your flow of period. good luck
