What does "reflection and hindsight" mean?

Reflection means thinking about something that has happened to you in the past. Example: I reflected on our loss in our last basketball game.

Hindsight means to look at something in another point of view. Usually after something has happened to you.

REFLECTION - Slow and deliberate thought about something that involves ideas or opinions rather than definite facts. Example : The intention was to distract prisoners from any prolonged reflection upon there wretched condition.

HINDSIGHT - The ability to understand and realize something about an event after it has happened. Example : She was able to attempt a judgement with the benefit of hindsight.

reflection (depending on how it's used in the sentence) can mean thinking about something for a considerable time

hindsight means looking back and realizing something about something that has happened, usually realizing a mistake
