New York is wayyyy better than Atlanta. I mean Atl got **** on lock with the snap and sholder lean and laffy taffy and all that. But New York has been doin the thing for the longest time. Jigga, Biggie, Pun, Busta, Diddy. Now more recent artists like Kweli and Papoose. New York is off the chain. Not to mention that the actual city is off the chain as well. The city itself is ******* incredible. Atlanta aint got **** on New York as far as physical city is concerned. The skyline, the traffic, the way people talk. Its so fast pace and you need to keep up with the city or you'll get left behind. But back to hop music. New York is king and the only other city that I could see being real competition for New York right now is Chicago and L.A. If these 3 cities were to unite it could be somthin special. By the way Lupe Fiasco made one of the best albums of all time this year. Pick that **** up that is some real ****.

What ever happened to rappers making songs with messages? Now it is all about the bling, bling, with a bunch of fake a** punks running around acting like their thugs when most of them had better lives than me growing up. There is nothing tough or real about any of the new rappers, they all suck and suckers like you keep them from ever having to do any real work in their lives.

NYC is hott I agree... but I been to ATL and its off the chain there too... ATL has some hott artists coming up... like T.I... Ciara... But NYC is always going to have more because its a bigger city then ATL... But ATL is hott as well... MIA and Philly are coming up too in the game. :)

New York! How many times can you lean with it, rock with it? ATL is good for stripper music, but when it comes to thoughtful verses, (much less enunciation, LOL), then the Big Apple wins hands down! Followed closely by the West!

I agree with everything you said except for mentioning Busta's name. He's cool but he needs to step down now. He been around for too long and he's getting old. I think that last song Turn it Up (that's my ish, especially the remix) should be it for him so that he doesn't play himself out.
