If you don't like the job, give them notice that you're quitting. Don't get fired for not showing up. That would be a really bad reference on your work history.

You could be fired. You don't want that to happen... it could easily interfere with you finding another job.. What is it that you don;t like? Is it the hours? The people? The work itself.?? If so, let me tell you.... over half of America probably has the same complaints. Work is no fun... but it pays the bills, puts food on the table, and it's a hellavuh lot better than depending on a government handout. So, unless you are being mistreated or not able to handle the job, then back up and take a look at yourself. Could the problem be you... and not the new job? In other words, if you left this job , would you have the same issues with the next job?? Is it working that you don't like. If so, I understand... but hey, are you a stayer or a quitter??

Well, you could either "blow it off" or go in and face the music--which quite possibly they may have their minds made up already.

However, keep this in mind for the future: If at all possible--NEVER burn your bridges. Even if you don't like a job, at least give them the courtesy of your two-week notice, meaning you'd have to "stick it out for two weeks." This is a reflection of your character that could "haunt" you if it gets around that you're not dependable.

This particular time may not matter. Good Luck!!

Honestly I would be scared too. If you do not like it and dont need the money for survival reasons, just quit, your better off. It looks alot better then them firing you for missing too much work. Two times in two weeks is alot. Espically since they can fire you for any reason within the first 90 days.
