I'm sorry but the right thing to do is just be friends. Life is hard, and if you make a relationship it can cause huge problems. So if u want to stay on the safe side, just be friends, I'm just giving u advice.What u should do is find another guy.

just stay family.No relationship...especially if your grandma is sensitive about the fact that she was adopted. She may not want it thrown in her face that there is no true blood relation. She know she is adopted...so let it be!!! Besides, could you imagine the family get togethers once you did decide to go out. Something like this can really change the integrity of a family visit!!
