Hey, pass the joint, you're already stoned. That's the dumbest question I ever seen on Y!A, and there have been other doozers. But, you take the cake, for dumbest question asked in Y!A.
There will be other lasers pointed at you that is LETHAL....yeah baby let's see it on CNN or Fox, another one bites the bullet. For an attempted assassination on the US President, bad choice of question.

You would get beaten up by the secret service, detained for weeks, threatened with all kinds of bad stuff like being sent to guantanamo bay as a terrorist, interrogated and eventually released but you would then be charged with all kinds of stuff in court and they would make your life a living hell.

I am not too worried about this administration. They would probably just attack the nearest person and say that altough they have not yet found a laser pointer, they know there is one there somewhere.
