I have two: First would be the grandfather who died when I was one. The other would be Adolf Hitler, and I'd make sure I had a Glock 9mm with me!

I would like to have met Jesus and heard his own words, so I could make up my own mind rather than hear the multiple translated versions of today. I also would have loved to have met the ruler Hitler and seen his amazingly brilliant mind, and been able to see where he went wrong with his ways of ruling. He was a very smart man that fell apart and went off the deep end and started to aim for the world as his very own empire.

I would go back and meet Harry S. Truman. I'd like to be a spectator in his head as he was agonizing over the decision to drop the A-bomb. He was the last down-to-earth, honest politician. Loved the story about his daughter's awful opera performance. A critic panned it and HST threatened to cut off his b***s! Great question...

Pope John Paul II. He made mistakes, but overall was the best Pope the Catholic Church had in a long time. I still miss his leadership. Also, a Catholic Trappist Monk named Thomas Merton. He was a poet, mystic, philosopher and peacemaker. Very complicated man, but very intelligent and insperational.
