Any good new years music like oldies jazz kind????

if your looking for older jazz you can't go wrong with sinatra, dean martin or tony bennett. and no, i'm not that old. i just like that type of music. it's classic.

Dave Brubeck Quartet. Look for the the album "Take Five" very good. It's upbeat and fast paced and perfect for New Years cocktail party stuff if that's what you're thinking.

Also look for stuff by Henry Mancini of Pink Panther Theme song fame. I like Thelonius Monk's album "Straight, No Chaser" but am not sure that's high enough energy.

You could always try going to a local, independantly owned record store and see what the people there had to say. The people who work at those places are usually way more helpful than the chain store attendents.
