i have a plain white one! i think the white is the bast cause u can put any color case on it and nothing will be seen inside it! I like to switch it up all the time and I can just put a gel blue one on and it looks completely blue! so ha! mines better! Mines a older version one and they don't make white anymore either so that's even better! Mines still a nano though.

but black is nice because you cant really see it if it gets dirty & stuff
