Is the Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam,Anti-Spyware & Firewall protection offered by AT&T sufficient? Do I need Norton?

I think they should be enough. Do not load too many programs, unless your PC has enough space. It will reduce the speed . If you need, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

No and no! Stay away from Norten's I am a former Norten's user. Norten's missed a virus and it caused my hard driver to crash. I now use avg free 7.5 and am very happy with it and ...no more viruses.

I also use comodo free firewall it too is a great product...only firewall to pass the leak test! The choice is really your..what would you rather have a software that lets in viruses or one that doesn't.

Norton is very good I have never had a problem. BUT It slows down your computer and is very hard to uninstall . I'd shop around on the net. AVG , MCAFEE , KASPERSKY are also very good. Kaspersky was rated # 1 buy consumer reports last yesr. I don't know much about at&t. Hope this help's
