Digimon shows focused on adventure and saving the world with
the Digimons, as the titles "Digimon Adventure" and "Digimon Savers" clearly showed. They are aimed at an older audiences, especially Savers (those 8 years old kids who watched "Digimon Adventure" are now at around Masaru's age, 14 years old).
Pokemon show focused primary on promoting Pokemon in the average day to day lifestyle. It's primary aimed at very young kids (pre-schoolers and early elementary school graders), though like many shows, it has a few certain elements for older audiences.
They can be compare to Kindergarten and Elementary School, though "Digimon Savers" is more like Junior High School.
Me? I like Final Fantasy VII, you figure it out.

DIGIMON ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!! Pokemon gets on my damn nerves b/c the damn animals say they're names 2 damn much and who in the hell wants a frickin that comes out a damn ball,it also has the same damn concept of being the world's greatest Pokemon master and how old is Ash that damn boy been 12 4 a long damn time trick grow up and most of all IT'S GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!(SERIOUSLY)

I have to say both are good. but after the second season digimon got really bad.

i like pokemon better coz of the kawaii pokemons like pikachu and i don't like the digimons coz of their names are always ending in mon...
