Most people on yahoo believe in UFOs, jesus, heaven, hell, that the moon is made of jam, that elvis' face appeared on a piece of toast and so on.

You do not need to worry.

America is still the same place of mysticial and supersticious belief as it has always been.

Can I, as an outsider, be allowed to contribute?

I have not been overly impressed with what I have seen of your public education system. Your health service is devisive, and government policy a mess. The USA needs to decide what it's role in the world is. Either open the boarders (to people and trade) or close them. At the moment, there are just leaks.

Yes, I do get concerned. I would like an outlet for serious questions and answers. This is such a cool concept, but it is not being used to its greatest extent. I have thought about not participating, but I want to give it some more time.

I agree. People just want to use the questions area to prove their own points, not to ask legitimate questions.

Also, the responses to most questions are completely idiotic.

When I ask a question, I am hoping to get a legitimate answer, I don't know about the rest of these people.

Yeah, yeah, sometimes I like to goof off, but mostly I try to be serious.

I'm worried that many people in this country forget about our troops or fail to support them in their lonely hours.
I'm worried about my children's future.
I'm not going to worry about any of it because the reality is I can't control most of the above or most of what I failed to mention.
I am going to continue to love my country because I am naive enough to believe I do enjoy great freedoms.
The United States is not perfect but it is my birthplace and I am grateful for that privilege.

Absolutely. I think it every day. I am on here all the time trying to help kids see the right way. I try and give good advice. Their parents have failed this generation and the sins are on their heads.

It is awful... but again, it is the parents. They are so accountable. They just let them do what they want. They teach them nothing any more.

Personally, its the answers that disturb me. Its frigggin nearly 2007 and people STILL beleive in fairy tales written by Bronze Age goat herders. Thats frightening.

YES. The bastardization of the English language is bad enough, but the frequency of questions of where to obtain pirated materials really makes me fear for the future.
