It's a shame that we live in a society that has stores that want to make a profit off of someone's death. May the Godfather of Soul rest in peace.

Awful! These stores always try to capitalize whenever a famous singer dies! They should be ashamed. Let the man rest in peace! He hasn't even been buried yet! For shame! Greedy jerks!

James Brown is no longer a breathing godfather, I believe, as of three-fifty pm 12-26-06. Hope he had a Merry Christmas, just the night before, like Chrstmas Eve, I was with friends listening to a Christmas song of his.
I'll miss his sass and brass, and woodwinds and back-beat.
Rest-In-Funky-*** Peace, James Brown, way to go.
God bless you and take you back, my friend.

Anything to make a quick buck, which the store you are referring to doesn't need to worry about it. I'm so sick of *them*. Everyone did the same thing when Johnny Cash died. The day before they were listed as "super saver" cds for $4.00 and when he dies they went up to $15.00. They have absolutely no ethics or morals.

What a shame. It's so sad that they exploit his contribution to music like that. Makes me not want to buy music from the "blue vest" crew.

That's disgusting, but predictable, you know? Can't really blame the guy the orders must have come from higher up- they're the ones who care about every last penny to be squeezed.
