Can anyone tell me the deferenceand between thought less and child abandonment and what I should do . My son and his wife seem to have forgoten to pick up their children after christmas and I cant find them

omg, how could they leave them alone by Christmas? How could they forgot about them? that`s a crime....... :/

The first thing I would do is file a "missing persons" report, with the police. It would be a natural lead-in to abandonment, should they not ever show up. Once the police locate them, if they don't come for the kids, well, then, you can decide what you want to do. If you do decide to file charges of abandonment, however, you must realize that they will be stripped of custody. Are you prepared to keep the children, or have them taken to foster care??

If you can not find them, call the police make sure nothing terrible has happend to them first of all. call other relatives on both sides if you can. Be there for the children right now they need you, and if you can not get in contact with the parents then call children services and let them know what is going on.
