well what u need to do is go to a department store in the mall and test different products. what u will be looking for is the texture and the weight of the makeup when u test it. make sure u have a moist towel with u or some alcohol pads to cleacn ur skin after each test. the point in this is: everyones skin pigment is different. u might not ever be able to find the right SHADE, but u can always blend to fit ur modifications. if u find a product name that is close enough to ur color, then nine times out of ten u will be able to find another product to blend with. when ur testing products make sure it isnt heavy or thick, otherwise the blending process will not be easy. now u have a choice of getting as close to ur skin color as possible in two ways: one shade lighter or one shade darker. now if u do one shade darker, u WILL NEED a light shimmer powder(loose, not pressed) to lighten the foundation to match ur neck. but if u get one shade lighter(like i do), u can use a broze colored blush to deflect the color to match or u can just get some bronzing shimmer powder(loose) and apply it over ur whole face. this will definately blend ur foundation to match. but if u do find a perfect match during ur search then thats just as good.

The lighter bit of skin between your index finger and thumb should be the same colour as your face. If your still having trouble try a different brand or mixing your foundation with moisturizer to thin it out and make it less obvious.
Experiment till you find one you like.
Hope that helps.

go to a department store so they can help you match a color, clinique isnt very expensive and they last a long time. It's worth the money to get something that will look smooth and nice on your face. good luck : )

NEVER NEVER EVER use your hand... My hand is tanned while my face is light... when i moisturize in the morning, it has spf in it... Your hand is darker than your face always. I would go to a cosmetic counter and let them show you. then remember the color name they showed you. Alabaster is always pink, btw.
