I love paranormal stories, but I really love the really unique ones. What is the most strangest, weirdest paranormal story you have ever heard/read/or experienced first hand? I'm not talking about your every day "I saw a ghost once, and it was sooo freaky," story. I want to hear some unique, unexplainable story!

Very early one morning, I was getting in my car and put my handbag (large and full) on the back seat of the car, by pushing it between the door frame and the head rest. For some reason I wound my window down. We were going along a quiet country road - I was only going at about 30mph when something suddenly 'shot' passed my head. Instinct made me do an emergency stop - My handbag was out of the car. (This defied the laws of physics - by the ferocity and speed it exited the car) I got out of my car and bent down to pick it up. Further down the road, on a blind bend - a car heading towards us - on our side of the road, totally out of control. My friend and I are convinced, something threw my handbag out of the car to save us from having a head on collision it.

Oof. I have a few freaky firsthand ones...
Probably the freakiest: A few years back, I was part of an amateur ghost-hunting team in southern Pennsylvania. We were in one of our regular stops, a graveyard where we got some good pictures and also had already had some odd experiences with (mostly in everyone getting odd feelings at the same time in certain parts of it; one area was consistently hard to breathe in, another area felt like you were walking in knee-deep mud, etc).
A couple people were back along the treeline checking out some graves, and the rest of us were just in the middle, taking various readings. Then for some reason, our equipment went weird. I remember that I had the range thermometer, and it started dipping from the high fifties (it was a May evening) down to 14 degrees and back up, very quickly. Our EMF detector started showing readings three times the level of a normal human. We heard a crash in the woods, and the people along the treeline ran back up screaming "Get in the car!" which we all did very quickly.
What they had seen...they said it was on all fours, but looked as if it should have been on two, and would have been taller than a human if it had been. They hadn't gotten a good look at the head, but the rest of it was vaguely doglike, and it was gray. We did some research later and found that this actually fell in line with some local legend of grave guardians, and that someone we knew had seen two others at the local Potter's field. One way or the other, it was definitely warning us off...

I actually used to browse stories about Angel encounters on Joan Wester Anderson's website, and i read one that was really really bizare and unusual.
In a page or so a girl told a story that i'll basically rehash in a nutshell.
I remember this girl said how she made a friend, and they got along really well, and he was her confidante at first and how her family objected to her friendship with him, he was older but they never had sex. come to find out she goes to his apartment one day and finds that everything he told her was a lie!!
So as she runs out of his apartment, she hears this man cursing at her, every imaginable ugly word you can think of, he grows angry at her but she's running away and finds herself running toward a Church, then appears these twin boys, one at her left and one at her right, they are leading her there, they have angel-like curly white hair. oh and all the while she was running, she couldn't speak , she was mute. Then as she makes it inside the Church, theres a man (Most likely is Jesus or high angel cant remember) and this man in a white rober is fighting another man (could be evil) and obviously Jesus or angel wins. At the end of it all, she reunited with her parents, etc. But the most interesting part was that an angel told her she was to help others make a choice. Its like the choice was an important thing in her life.
Wasn't that bizarre?! I remember telling a friend, and she was freaked out, cause of the twin angel boys -lol

When I was living in Hawaii a girlfriend of mine told me she was staying over at a friend's house in Hawaii Kai. She was sleeping in the guest bed when she felt like someone was sitting on her chest. She freaked out because she saw no one there, but she could swear someone was sitting directly on her.
Hawaii has some pretty good ghost stories, but this one was from someone who was honest and no she wasn't having a heart attack. She told me the story while we were watching the movie Frighteners because she was really scared of that flying ghost that chased Michael J. Fox around, so she explained why.
Another time a young nephew of mine told my aunt that he saw his uncle in his room wave to him and smile. He was always really close to that uncle, who had died suddenly from an aneurism a week before!

ooh andy samberg! anyways, i was 6 and i moved to a new apt. complex with my mom & sister. After settling in and starting my first few weeks of school I befriend this Shadow Person named Charlie. He was my friend everyday and played hide and seek with me (or so i thought). He would always tell me that he was my best friend (telepathically) and that I can't tell another soul about him. Fast forward when im 17 and in my Physiology class...guess who makes an appearance? Charlie! He was standing next to my teacher with a bloody hatchet but I couldn't scream and My bff (since i was 4) was sitting with me and goes "wtf...is that...Charlie?" apparently he only makes him known(seen) with a select few. No one in my class saw him but i warned my teacher that if i look worried not to ask me what's wrong and that Charlie and I will deal with it. Here i am @ 19 and he's still around and won't hurt anyone unless i ask him to (i'm not like that so he wont). He parks himself near my bed every night and protects me from everything that can scare me. I live in a house, presently, that has 3 other souls occuping and Charlie makes it clear not to screw with me or else. So they never bother me. I was taking a shower one day and one of them was opening my curtains and Charlie came and next thing you know it the unknown entity is gone. He is like my guardian angel. Anyone who speaks badly about Shadow people are wrong and won't know it until they've had a friend for life.

im going to tell you the best story yet.
i was asleep and then suddenly i felt a floating sensation. i opend my eyes and i saw my body below me. I wa s like a ghost. then a went aroun my house in this ghostly apperance. i could walk trough walls ant it was awsome. it wasnt a dream. then went and hovered over my body( i was able to fly in this spirit form.) then it sucked me back in . i woke and it was amazeing. i did some search and its called "astral projection". its really cool all the things you cam do while being in the astral or ghost form, u can trave to other countrys, space, other dimensions amd even back in time or get blury future visions. you can meat your gaurdian angels but see demons too. its really great. you can visit the akashik records. to view your life plans and stuff.
what is better is that anyone can do it. you can do it with practice.

well i dont know if its supernatural but once when i was like 13 years old my siblings and i were gonna be left alone for a weekend around the holidays. our parents were going out of town to pick up an aunt of us that wanted to visit. keep in mind that we didnt have any keys we were gonna be locked in for a day. but then stuff started happenning. my dad lost his car keys. then my mom fell and twisted her ankle and then my dad and my mom lost their travel money so they couldnt go. after that on the same day they were gonna leave at noon the christmas tree lit on fire and part of the house burned down. luckily my parents were there to get us out of the house. if it hadnt been for all of the things that got in my parents' way my siblings and i would be dead. after the fire, we saw in the floor how the burn marks made the virgin mary's sillhouette. now, im an atheist and all but i was freaked out. coincidence or not?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but once I had a strange experience. I had cleaned my whole house one Sunday afternoon. A friend of mine, who is a psychic, came by to say hello. She told me there were spirits who wanted me to leave. We then took a candle, and burned white sage and went into each room, telling evil spirits to leave. The next morning, there were 7 dead flies in my toilet! Funny thing, there were NO flies in my house before that.

the most freaky story i heard was the one with the school building being demolished and the demolition crew heard ghostly children playing,it was unexplained mysteries

The only one that comes to mind is when these birds saved these two little girls from being kidnapped by pecking the eyes of the kidnapper out. I thought that was cool.
