A while ago - maybe as long as ten years ago - Andrew Lloyd Webber was doing the rounds of the talk shows discussing a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. It was to be set in New York, and I'm pretty sure Frederick Forsyth was working on the story. He even had a song or two.

Whatever became of it?

Its called "The Phantom of Mahnatten". Its a pretty good book... and theres some real interesting twists in it. Its based off of the Play, not the orignal book.
