In case you want to know WHY these answers are right:

1. The peace treaty ending the war of 1812: D) did not create any immediate changes in territory. The Treaty of Ghent retained the boundaries which existed between the United States and Canada (the latter which was at the time a British territory) before war began. Occurring concurrently with the Napoleonic Wars, the drain on Great Britain's manpower was beginning to tell, and the primary issue of the war -- Britain's policy of impressment -- was becoming superceded anyway.

2. One result of the fact that there were more than twice as many voters in the Election of 1828 than 1824 was: A) greater election corruption. It was almost a "tit for tat" because Jackson won the popular vote in the 1824 election over Adams, but the Electoral College became deadlocked and the election went to the House of Representatives. Jackson's supporters, many of whom ended up with high government positions due to the spoils system, wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen again. In addition, the more the United States was expanding, the greater opportunity for corruption became possible anyway.

3. The economic policies of Thomas Jefferson's second term: B) all but decimated trade and commerce with Europe. In light of Britain and France at the Napoleonic Wars with the United States, Jefferson elected to use (and Congress passed) the Embargo Act which would have closed off trade with whichever power was hostile to the United States at that time. Unfortunately, both Britain and France were convinced they could wait the U.S. out, and this policy of refusing to deal with any belligerent damaged the New England merchants and shippers, interfered with commerce, and sent American sailors' wages into the basement. It was proved, painfully, that at that time the U.S. need Britain and France more than the other way around.

Neutrality means you would treat both combatants in a war equally. Therefore, only a represents neutrality. Why not the others? b - representatives would be sent, to discuss/intervene in the war c - protecting the citizens of a neutral nation would interfere with the intentions of at least one of the combatant nations d - Would only show neutrality if you sold weapons to BOTH nations
