well I have tattoos on my neck and arms and also a few piercings and believe it or not sometimes I forget and see people looking at me and occasionally I think, what the H E L L are they LOOKING at !? not pissed off or nothing, then i remember. and I go.. oh yeah thats right.. and I laugh at myself.. if it really bothered me I would be in a lot of trouble because with my "decorations" i guess its to be expected I really do not notice if people stare all the time though, cause I am not always aware of other people or of my decorations, and I do not think I am the center of the world lol

Depends of course why someone is staring. I stare back. Usually people who stare they do not know they are staring.
I am told when I have my small seizures it looks as if I am staring, of course I do not know this.
The people who are doing this for some reason and know they are doing it, it is a power thing. Hence why I stare back. If I can not take control I tell my Mr. and he will take action and everything will be OK. Of course this is the last resort because he will make a scene, something I would rather not do out in public....
If someone wants my attention all they have to do is stare lol!

I don't particularly mind being stared at, but if it's for too long then I do get a bit annoyed. If someone stares at me for a long time I just smile and look away.

It doesn't bother me. I don't pay attention to starers. I don't really notice them. I know it happens because people around me will say that a person is staring. I just don't notice.

Well, it's instinctive.
Never stare at a defensive dog. To him it means war.

Well,... it depends. When our organization holds its yearly circus as a fundraiser, people point at my friends and myself and laugh. I don't think we are imagining it, but who knows. We have gotten used to being stared at. ;-)
