Well as I'm sure you know there is a massive variety of bosoms in the world and for every single gal everything is different and there is lots of ways you could develop, my 10 year old started getting hers last year and 3 months in a row, on the same day of the month she got light spots of period, however that was 5 months ago now and there hasnt been more. So you see its all very very different from gal to gal. She is stressing abit about 'cos she thought she would 'have them' now but this is the way our mental bodies work. Would you like our email address? you and Claire might make friends and you both would have some1 to talk too? We talk HEAPS! katiejubba@yahoo.com.au

In some girls the breast develop very early, long before periods start. Its impossible to say how soon she will start her periods but its highly likely to be earlier than normal;

1 to 3 years typically....but every one is different and it could be longer....also weight is an issue... heavier girls may apper to have breasts sooner but have more problems with menarche.... the onset of the period.
