I completely agree with your comment i would much rather have an illegal raking my yard rather than a speeder on my street. And besides EVERY single american in this country has broken a rule in their life-time...and if they say they haven't they are bold face liars! Besides we "Americans" stole this land from the Indians so you have to look at that too. And Arizona, New Mexico, California and part of Texas was part of mexico at one time.

I'd rather have speeders around then ILLEGAL ALIENS. You ask what HARM they do. They break down the very fabric of OWNERSHIP. What is the difference between an illegal alien and someone charged with Breaking and Entering? Would you like it if I just moved into your house WITHOUT your permission? Guess you would so give me your address, hey maybe you can pay me to help keep your house clean.
Oh and for the record you CAN enter the country legally and become LEGAL if you take the time. You don't have to enter illegally or overstay your visa just to become a legal resident so don't give me that B.S. As to the Mexicans at least they had the good sense to FIGHT US when we invaded their country. We LEGALLY BOUGHT their land, which is part of why Americans can no longer buy land in Mexico. See their were Consequences to OUR actions in that sense. Like they attacked at the Alamo and that was what truly set the battles off.
Another note: Every single illegal immigrant is violating the laws every minute they are here ILLEGALLY. A speeder breaks when they are speeding. People are breaking the law on occasion when they break it. They aren't CONSTANTLY breaking the law like Illegal immigrants. If you want to say I have broken the law I am not doing it at the moment, although EVERY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT IS AT THIS VERY MOMENT. That is what makes them ILLEGAL.

Those are some compelling points that make this whole thing about illegal immigration such a hot issue.
As the comparison of speeding and illegal immigration. One is an infraction and the other is a misdemeanor.
If that person is paying a significant amount for yard work on a regular basis, they are required to get his/her SSN or TIN for form W-4 or 1099-misc.
Of course if that person is paid by check, and is using a fraudulent name and/or tax number, they commit a felony as soon as they cash it at their local bank.
That's the other side of the coin so to speak.

The illegal alien takes resources without regard to established rules while the speeder ends up getting caught and heavily fined. The damage by both to innocent people can far exceed our imaginations. Your kids should not be near the street and it is Your responsibility to inform authorities if speeding becomes frequent on your street. The passive handling of these issues exposes society to dangers that are not needed.

It explains it very clearly. Some people just like to ignore that part of it. Or maybe there is a separate pro-illegal dictionary with a different definition for the word.

I think you're right. Speeding can be much more dangerous than illegal workers. I really liked Bush's Guest Worker Program idea. That way, they are documented and cant just flee back to their home country if they commit a crime in the US.

I completely agree. I have many close friends who are not yet legal, and I don't understand the B.S. they have to face. It takes years to become legal, and any time the govt can just grab them up and drag them back. It sickens me. It's like the Nazis.
And the further B.S. about "Mexican illegals are draining our money for welfare"--What?! I am sure there is a percentage, yes. Just like legal immigrants, whites, blacks, asians, native americans, and anyone else. I do not know ONE of my friends or their family members who do not work. In fact, most work two or three jobs because they are either not paid as well as we are, or they are sending their money back home to pay for their mothers, fathers, and children.
What is wrong with this country??? Are we really so desparate to hate that we arbitrarily pick hard working, innocent people to hate??? Do we not remember that, in Texas, whites were invited to settle by the Mexican government? Then we, the whites, revolted and slaughtered Mexicans and Indians to gain our "Freedom"???
At least THE MEXICAN "ILLEGALS" aren't slaughtering us to become "Free"!!!

you cannot compare a person vs. an act....you also are not taking into consideration the financial impact that each has... in which case, that of illegals would be greater... but really you cant compare them..
also because speeding is temporary...an illegal person in a country is continually committing an illegal act...
