Ok well my lil sis wants to get her septum peirced witch is ur nose but in the middle part of it? and she wants to know if if it hurts?

I'm sure it would, since it has nerve endings in it. Bet to get the piercings that use magnets so there's no hole to deal with.

i would believe so. The septum is like tough cartilage. I got my tragus pierced and that hurt, but it was well worth it in the end. If she really wants it then she should get it..

Common sense says yes, there will be some discomfort. Tell her to take her fingernails and pinch that area as hard as she can (quickly). If that hurts, then piercing it will also.

yes....but not as bad as nipple piercing....n for a few minutes i felt as if my septum's has its own heartbeat. lol.
n taking care of the piercing to avoid infections is troublesome too. trust me. i dun know wat the heck was i thinking back then. hehehe.
gd luck to ur sis. tell her to take gd care of the wound if she does pierce.
