Maybe you can make new friends but still keep her in your life as well...there's enough love to go around. As you get older you'll probably value her a lot more as people drop out of your life like flies, because life becomes more complicated. True friends are really rare and she sounds very sweet, no matter how zany she might be! It's kind of funny if you hear about it from here. Someday you two might look back on how silly she sometimes is and laugh. In the meantime keep doing what you enjoy but I wouldn't cut her out completely; of course that's up to you.

Honestly it depends on the type of person she is but I am sure you are the best judge of that. If she is clingy then the best way is to ignore her until she goes away. If she is obsessive the same would work for that but if she is a good person that is worth keeping around then you may just wanna have a talk with her. The best trick I learned to talk to difficult people is to put it in the 3rd person and say I have a problem i.e "I have a problem with this person she has these quirks witch are hard to deal with and I was wondering what your advice is...." Then you continue. People love to solve problems so she may come up with an idea for you.

I think the best thing to do is talk to her about it. You can tell her that you haven't been the greatest friend to her because you are ashame to be seen with her. Tell her that you've changed and are sometimes annoyed by her "foolishness".

If she's that "weird" to you now, think it over before you do ANYTHING. If you still believe, after thinking about it, that she makes you uncomfortable, drop her. Life's too short, and you'll meet new friends. Good luck!

people change thats all, if you dont want to hang out with her dont!

if you find her annoying and weird whats the oint of the friendship? you're supposed to respect and love your friends.

just put her down as an aquaintance and move on

i think you need to sit her down and tell her the truth...it may hurt her to tell her the truth but atleast she will know that she has to back off && not be so clingy...it`s probably better in the long run anyway...b/c idk if ur the type of person to explode once you reach a point...but if she irritates you to the point where you explode she might be like all what did i do

As a friend, you should tell her how you feel about her behavior but you should do it in a nice way that she doesn't feel offended. Tell her that you care for her because she is your friend. Be honest with your feelings.

Talk to her about what's bothering you - there's a reason you were friends to begin with. Its very possible that you may have outgrown her..
