I have my eyebrows waxed and yes it hurts but it is not untolerable. It usually costs between $8.00 to $15.00 depending onwhere you have it done. It is not embarassing because most women go thru regimens to stay beautiful. Depending on where you have it done they will put you in a small room screnned off from the rest of the salon.

You must not live in a progressive city or town. Waxing is as old as Cleopatra. Even men have it done regularly. To be precise, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Depending on where you live, in NYC it can cost from $7.50 to as much as $30.00. There is a little discomfort when the wax is removed (with the hair) but it is a matter of 2 seconds or less for each removal strip.
Finding a good operator will depend on where you live. If you are in bustling town or city, you'll have lots to choose from and if not, you will be limited. In New York City, you can find 2 or 3 salons with multiple operators on every commercial block and more.

Yes, eyebrow waxing can hurt. The cost varies depending on where you go.
It's only embarrassing if you leave with your eyebrows done incorrectly.
Normally, you can just go to a nail shop and someone there will be able to wax your eyebrows, but not all of them are good at it. Basically, if you notice that someone's eyebrows are arched nicely, just ask who did it for them.

I love to get it done. It may hurt at first, then you get use to it. It is over in just seconds and you look so much better and feel better about yourself. Prices range from five to 25 dollars depending on where you go. You just need to ask some friends or people you know to recommend the best salon and then try some out for yourself. I just go to different ones. Always, before the person begins--get infront of the mirror and show them what you want changed. That way you will get what you want and pay for. That is my best advice.

It barely hurts. It may hurt a little bit more the first time but not enough to keep you from doing it again. I can't really give you a price because my friend works in a salon and does it for me on the side. But, here in Michigan you can get them done for as cheap as $7.00. I suggest that you go to a place that is run by Asians because they have a tendency to arch them really nicely. Hope this helps.

yes, it does. i've heard (but not tried) that putting Orajel on the skin before helps to numb it. i haven't tried it because i think it would make me break out, but i have oily skin. you could give it a go, or try numbing it with ice first. it's certainly not embarassing, as almost ALL women pluck or wax their eyebrows. price varies from salon to salon. just ask as if you were asking the price of a hair cut or facial, no embarassment or shame necessary! to find a good one, ask someone you know where they go, or you could even ask a stranger! if you see a woman with nice eyebrows, tell her you're looking and think hers look great! most will love the compliment and be glad to tell you. you're gonna look great!

It does sting a little, it doent hurt. It is sooo worth it. To ease the sting you can buy some baby teething gel and rub it on the area where your getting it waxed and it will be easier for you. good luck

Nope it don't hurt, I loved it actually. The results lasted a long time. I prefer threading now tho. The results are just as good.
