no, but we both understand this and we talked about it in advance. i am not upset. i basically only give gifts to children, not adults. just my way. so i don't expect any gifts either.
to avoid these kinds of misunderstandings, talk in advance:
"are we going to exchange gifts?"
"what is your thinking about holiday gifts?"
"how is our gift-giving going to work with each other"
and come to a mutual agreement ahead of time.
that's what i did and it worked great.

I don't get gifts alot of times because I would rather make sure everyone else is happy. It's a little upsetting, but it's not the end of the world. Better to give than to receive-those are easy words to speak, hard words to live by.

I'm pretty sure I would be, yes. Even if it was a small gift or a homemade gift....something that lets you know they were thinking of you and they love you.

I'd rather just be able to spend time with my other half rather than getting a gift..spending time with my other half is a gift...and if i get a present from him is a bonus.

First off its a Christmas gift.I would ? why your with this cheap insensitive guy.Cut your losses and move on unless you can deal with no gifts chances are he wont change Good Luck

Yes, I would. I would feel that he doesn't want to please me. Happiness comes from within, but when you're with somebody you like to feel that you matter. To me, gifts are a tangible sign of that.
