i haven't seen the whole thing, but i was getting pretty exasperated how every Single Dang thing went Wrong for greg focker. soo...what was the catalyst that made robert deniro "propose" to greg w/ a ring, and say "will u be my son in law"?????

i think he finally saw what a nut job he was being towards greg...he was way over protective of his daughter. and greg got scared off by his looney setups, he tried to get out of the engagement, and said sorry to his fiancee. but then robert saw how hurt his daughter was and that she truly loves him so he just decided to let everything be.
