What is the worst thing that can happen?
Think about it, and most of the reasons that you come up with probably shouldn't even need to be worried about. You might think that you will mess up, but think about it: in a week, people won't even remember that you sang those songs, and most of the audience probably doesn't even know who you are. So if you mess up, it won't be a big deal.
Before you go on stage, smile and assure yourself that you will do a great job and that everything will go really well. Breathe deeply, and walk on stage. Remember, no matter how bad you will do, there will be many people that will still enjoy and love the song.

just make sure you are confident that you can sing the song well, then practice it in front of a few people like family or friends for example, thenm i guess you'll get more experienced the moe you do it, or maybe try singing w/ a few other people before you do solos, it takes some of the pressure off - hope i helped!

Do drugs and get drunk like most musicians and sigers!
Or you can study Chi Lel Chi Gong for several years of constant practice.

Or you can join toastmasters for about 30 bucks for a 6 month membership. (no, I don't sell anything for them...)

and, of course, you can do what they always tell you to do, go Kareoke!

You get like this because all the attention being directed at you is a lot of energy for your body energy to handle. You need to build your body energy, emotional energy, etc. Just practiing speaking and singing in public will help this over time. Even people who sing, speak, etc in public say that after years of doing it, they still get nervous a lot of the time, but you just learn to handle it better. You learn to use the energy to rev you up instead of being overwhelmed by it.
