I did this project in 8th grade and received 3rd place, it is very simple too, test the law of inertia. Use a large bowl and spin several different objects around in it, the objects should be of all different sizes and shapes. The point is that no matter the shape, size, weight, length, etc. They will all fly out of the bowl in a straight line. This is almost too simple, but it is true.

Well, to incorporate your idea (Titanic) would require you to pick a starting point such as the effects of ice or even how the boat sank and how the air inside the boat caused it to sink in the manner in which it did.

I always like the exploding volacnoe but for something different why not try and use little motors and gadgets and show how small aircrafts defy gravity and propel themselves from here to there?

this may be a reliable undertaking concept, (however I dont understand if it classifies as a "conventional", that's Aeronautics) If weight is hooked as much as a paper airplane, Does it somewhat is Distance of the flight substitute?
