a dog they can protect you and cats stink they leave hair everywhere and are go for having leukemia and you spend way more on a cat at the vet

Actually, I have both. A cat is easier, you can go away for a weekend with food and water left behind for them. A dog is playful but needs someone to take them out to potty. I must say my cat is playful and cuddly. She comes when called better than the dog.

I would rather have a dog because you can train them and play with them more! Cats are boring! They just sleep all day!

Dog. They are always happy to see you. And dont just love you because you feed them. They love you because you love them. And they are the most likely to protect you. Even though i have heard of cats saving peoples lives. But just not as much as dogs.

I would love to have both. The dog for play and protection. The cat for cuddling and relaxing (purring).

Dog, they listen and are easier to train. Cat don't listen and are too bossy.
