Linking blue and red pokemon. When we link up, one version says please apply here, the other says reserved for 2 friends and it will not allow us to battle. Can someone help with this problem?

Make sure the link cable is for the system you're using and make sure they are connected properly. Then have you and your friend talk to the receptionist at the same time. If it still does not work, try reconnecting and start again. (Make sure theres no dust in the cable end or connecter.
