Washington offered him a contract 2 years ago for $500K, he rejected it flat. He NOW says he's willing to take an offer from any team similiar to the contract the Nats once offered just so he can "prove himself". Funny how being out of the game for a year pride no longer matters anymore.

Sammy, stop begging for work and please just slither away into the darkness and play with your corked bats, nobody cares about you anymore.

I think he's going to be lucky if he even gets a 500,000 dollar minor league deal. Unless someone is actually going to give him an actual contract. If that happens it's probably coming from the Devil Rays or the Royals.

relevance, akin the sublime efforts of the third parties and the ones to follow, where money flows like water in the very rivers of the dreary world of sports, the much coveted agents are the ones with the much coveted situations and the much coveted dollar amounts. Despite the anger, frustration that appeats from the cranium of the very angered people who detest, deject and cannot digest the very notion of quite possibly the most coveted ball player in the very history of this hypothetical perfect money laden world, the faintest idea of , or dare I say, the slightest hope of blossoming of the stardom, is not irrelevant afterall.

Sure. But the question is who will he be traded to? Most likely an NL team. I feel that he is a Nl man because of his record- breaking homerun seasons.

$am-Me has too big of an ego. he wont empty the air out of his head and accept a minimum paying contact to prove he can still play.

he's only coming back to hit 600 homeruns. he's not coming back to be a team players. he's coming back for his own needs.

No, his game isn't what it used to be, but his ego thinks it is. He had the opportunity last year, but turned it down due to the amount of money they offered him.
