A rar file contents one or more files that have been compressed to make them faster to download. Go to http://download.com and do a search for "RAR". You should be able to find WinRAR or anothr free program which will allow you to uncompress the RAR file, and change it back to its original format. Once you have did that, it should become a type of file you can play (mpg, avi, wmv, etc.)

A rar file is compressed, like a ZIP file.
Get winrar, and after installing it.
Just unzip the .rar files

did u attempt to extract the document? rar is a compressed document, so u would desire to extract or decompress it to view the stuff interior it. or u can purely get carry of winrar. and attempt to open it without extracting it... i wish that helps. in any different case.. u would desire to easily use a conventional workstation and purely convert it on there and purely use a USB to get the video onto the mac. :)

.rar files are archives...
You will need to use winrar or winzip to unrar the files first
( as inside that file will be other .avi movie files )

once you unzip the file, you need to find out if it,s an iso or a media file. a iso file needs to be burnt to a disc first or be mounted on a virtual player like damon tools(free download). outherwise its a media file and you will need windows media or outher media player depending on the program used to copy it

you will probably need to download another file like a vlc player for the files after you extract them, I needed to different players.
