If I was you I would put together a nice gift basket with an assortment of things in it.
Candies, body spray, lotion, a friendship ring,
Bet she would really love the friendship ring. And you can get a real nice one at the K Mart jewelry counter at 70% off for all there fine jewelry. I know someone who bought a beautiful ruby ring worth $150 for around $40.
WHAT A BARGAIN !
She would really Cherish that for years to come, and who would remember the broke arm with a beautiful friendship ring on it...It would turn something bad into a fun memory. She will look at her ring years down the road and smile .

Get her some cool Sharpies for people to sign it with (Metallic, Click, or Sharpie Mini's) Try to make light of it as long as she's not mad at you. Offer to decorate it with glitter paint or something.
Offer to do her hair or help with her makeup. -
(Don't know how old you are but) you could go over to her house before work/school and help her get ready a couple times a week or so (she won't want you around all the time.) If that's possible, I realize it isn't always possible.

Are you sure it was your fault? maybe it was just an accident. Prehaps you could take her out to a nice breakfast or get her a get well ballon with flowers or something. Something comical to make her laugh would be cool. Does she blame you? is she really upset with you? if so you may have to do something even better or all of the above. If she doesn't blame you but its because you feel guilty about it then something simple should be alright.

I'd buy her some of those really long stretch formal wear gloves. The glove will cover the cast and help her to keep it clean and nice looking.

Does she know you are very sorry? Is there anything you can help her with, carrying heavy books or whatever she used to do with her arm. Help her out for the next 6 weeks, but don't get in her face ;)

If you feel you did something wrong apologize and I'm sure she'll forgive you. Write something cute on it. I think something cool you could do is hang out with her and help her out.

I guess you've apologised? If so, try to make her feel more comfortable and that you are always there to help her to carry stuff etc. She'll feel the comfort and appreciate it.
No one would want such a thing to happen to their friend, so i'm sure your friend understands!

on her cast you could write "now when you look at your arm, you'll always remember ME!"
but don't worry, at one of my birthday parties my best friend tripped and broke her arm, and she never blamed me.
