I have undergone many life altering changes in my life and I have to say that the biggest reason for me to change would be the fear of not trying and regretting what I didn't do. For example taking a job that was new but has more responsibilities I would have regretted the chance to learn what I have learned. At one point I lost 130 lbs through exercise and healthy eating and that I know I would have regretted not trying so I guess it is really a matter of priorities.

When I realized that my mother and sister did not like me I stopped having contact with them. It's a good sign when your sister tells you that you embarrass her and at the same time calls you a freak. My mother on the other hand was known to say things about me behind my back that are known to be the worse things anyone could say about any one.
What did I do? I left them the hell alone and for the past 20 some years they've never heard from me.
In truth what really inspired me is when a very close friend said this to me,
"In all of my life I never told anyone to stay away from their family and this will be the first time and THE ONLY TIME, stay away from your family!" I took her advice.

1999 I had appendicitis which I ignored the pain and was sent to the emergency room and had surgery the same day which I ended up in the hospital for two weeks because of infection. The two weeks that I was in the hospital, I had time to reflect on my life...
I sold my home and stuff and my crazy money making life style which today, I live simple... Less is more...

I have true friends today and I found love...

Yes, Change comes and you never know it..

Love and Forgiveness are beutiful....

Must of been this past summer when i realized i had a talent for writing. Its always been a lingering thing that has been in my head for years but i guess i got this talent from my late mother. She was good at words. I already wrote things to be read at 2 of my classmates funeral. And everyone liked what i wrote. I still have not got to my potential to where I can sit down and write that book and I don't know what its going to take for me to do that. My high school teacher was someone I looked up to and I can still hear her wanting us to learn all we can . And after so so many years her voice is just now coming to me telling me I CAN do this.

I've done a few things that I thought at the time were life-changing. Whenever I'm feeling down or pensive about my life, I listen to music. Dave Matthews Band is my ABSOLUTE favorite. He has a song called Warehouse. I guess its about changes. It get my mind reeling.

I left an abusive spouse in 2002 after 5 years of marriage and have raised my daughter which was then 2 years old by myself....I did it for my daughter. She is my world and I wanted her to grow up knowing that no one deserves abuse. She was too young to know what was going on then and I didn't want her to realize that I was being mistreated.
