How do you hook up psp with ps3??? Give detailed intructions please.?

I bought a PS3 like 4-5 days ago and remembered that the psp can be used as a controller or rear view mirror and wanted to try it out. I really need some vvveeerrrrryyyy detailed instructions on how to do this. Plz help!
