I have worked with lots of people and different nationalities, but it seems like black women do not get along with fat white women. I'm a thin white girl, and I've just noticed this and am wondering if it's true that maybe black women feel threatened or intimidated by these fat white women b/c, including from questions on here I've read, black women feel black men go out with fat white women a lot? Also, it seems like in "black culture" to be "fat" is to be beautiful with a body, and so black women feel jealous that the white women can have "their" bodytype? As if only black women can be fat, and also, maybe people seem to find it irritating when a person doesn't meet a stereotype. It seems a lot of black women streotype white women as being anorexic and flat, which with fat white women, they do not meet that stereotype. Is it true that some, I know not all, black women mght think this? Or does any woman feel proud to be "fat" and jealous of somebody else for being that way?

I tend to agree with you in that black women feel threatened by fat white women because they see them as "competition" for their men.

Back again...Please note...A "fat" white woman is just that..FAT! A curvy white woman is very exotic and unusually found in society today, which is another reason why many black men tend to be attracted to them. If you're fat, you're fat..no matter what color or race you are. You seem kinda shallow (short bus rider) so it may be hard for you to identify with the curvy white women and the fat white women, as they do differ in size.

Honey, I have never been jealous of a white fat woman nor have I ever wanted to be fat. In fact, I believe I have spent the last twenty years trying to make sure I do not become fat. I also have never had a problem with getting along with fat women of any nationalities, some of my best friends are fat. However I did enjoy reading your theories about black women.

Heck no. Besides from my observations black women seem to carry their weight more gracefully anyways. I consider that "thick," (which is different than "fat") to be appealing. I don't dig skinny. Thick booty to me is attractive, which white women tend to lack, and go the other route of wide and flat-- again this is my observation and not fact.
But I have never been with a white woman, so maybe I am biased ;)

In my 25 years on earth, I have never seen nor heard of this theory until now, and it's the furthest thing from the truth. As a black woman, I am not jealous of any Caucasian woman, flat, fat or skinny, nor am I jealous of other black women, Latinas, Asian women, etc. Your theory is rooted in a small population of what you have seen and does not accurately reflect the whole of society. Perhaps you should venture out more and see that what you've supposed is complete and utter rubbish!

I never heard of anything like this before. If you noticed it at your job, the women may not care for each other due, to other reasons. Women in general don't like to see sloppy women, it doesn't matter if you are overweight, black, white etc. if a woman is not up keeping herself she might get dirty looks. Speaking as an African American woman, trust me when I say it takes more than someone's weight to intimidate us.

too funny! i never heard of it...but it is a good question ...because my honey likes unattractive, thick big booty white women... actually thick big booty women period! they ain't got to be cute...just as long as they're thick ( i don't like the word fat) i am just the opposite, an attractive, average size woman who refuses to allow my body to get fat...i am little thick, but not fat...and i do find myself worrying about competing with women who aren't attractive, and what i would consider too big....(no offense to any big woman out there) i do however see the beauty in all of us...it's a trip i came across your question, because in all honesty sometimes i do feel somewhat threatened by big women period. because now days more men seem to be digging on big girls with huge butts!

Very sorry to disappoint you but I am Black and thin. If I looked like a fat white woman I can quite honestly say that I would kill myself. Does that sound like jealously to you???
You have seriously got your thought processes mixed up as a so-called fat black woman's body is nothing like a fat white women's body..

im a not skinny but not fat white girl and i never ran into someone like that! i love the way i am and i got friends of different races and still never ran into this kind of promblem! i think stereotype in general is wrong, alot of guys like the skinny minnie type but then again alot of guys want meat on there bones!

You're really misinformed. Why would I be jealous of a fat white woman? Maybe the ones you've worked with didn't like them for reasons that had nothing to do with their body type or race.
