When my son was 6 months I gave him water. The only juice I gave him was fresh juice I made with my juicer. ( Must be aware of allergies ie. strawberries before age 2 ) Stores also carry juice for babies/toddlers that do not have sugar or aspartame and are not from concentrate. Also be careful not give more than 6 ounces a day because it will defer the baby from drinking full amounts of breastmilk/formula.

Yes u can give u baby juice but no more than 4 ozs a day and i would recommend watering it down just a little bit until she is 7 months old

i'm a nutritionist you may supply juice after 6 months of age it should be diluted a million to a million with water and under no circumstances more beneficial than 4 oz..an afternoon also juice might want to not accept interior the bedtime bottle because that's going to reason nursing bottle syndrome (ditto on sippy cups) you're actual meant to furnish any liquid (except formula and water) in a cup with no valve,

The only thing your baby should be drinking at this point is breastmilk or formula. Juice is like candy for babies - it is sweet, so they will eat it, but it has no nutritional value.

But she is old enough to start on solid foods. You might try some baby cereal (fed with a spoon, not in the bottle) or jarred vegetables. Add one new food a week, and keep an eye out for negative reactions.

My son is 13 months and on the smaller side. His pediatrician told me to hold off on juice and limit his water intake. He needs to bulk up and the best thing for him at this time is formula/milk. Juice just fills them up with empty calories. I'd stick to formula/milk and start on solids like cereal. Studies have shown that childhood obesity can be blamed on young people's addiction to sugary juices and sodas.

Perfect time to start juice. I wouldn't start with citrus juices first but apple and especially pear juice are seen to be good for babies. I am attaching a recent article about allergies as well just to let you know about children's exposure to different foods.

your baby does not need juice...just give her water to drink and whole fruits. fruit juice is not a good substitute for whole fruits. Aside from her formula or breastmilk all she needs is water as far as liquids go. Juice will just fill her up so she won't eat good foods.

Not too early for juice! At 1st to get my son started I watered it down since he had a sensitive stomache, but after so much time I gave it to him full strength.

yes its okay to start. Just not straight juice. I started 1 oz of juice to 1/2 oz of water. You have to dilute it some.

Juices are not of much help, give her fresh fruit(bananas, are great) formula, some soup (blended chicken with vegetables) or baby food from a jar)
.
