Ticket and failure to appear warrent issued 12 yrs. ago in ca. Never received any notice. Shortly after moved out of state, still there. Just now received first notice and since paid ticket. What can happed if I don't pay $2500.00 warrent? Thanks

There is no statue of limitation of traffic tickets. If you don't contact them, and/or pay the ticket, a warrant will be issued. I doubt they would take you back to CA from another state, but it is possible, and if you are ever stopped while visiting CA you will go to jail.

if your current state has a recipricol agreement with cali you could be jailed til payment made but most states won't do this due to space limitations and cost of admin but if you are needed by the police in your jurisdiction for a local case they will use it in a heartbeat to put the screws to you
