I heard she had some throat problems, what kinda throat problems? Is that the reason why she left or she left for something else like getting an argument with the other girls Ann Curless and Jeannete Jurado.

Gioia had a benign throat tumor that ended up putting her singing career on hiatus. An operation was considered but rejected by her since it could possibly permanently damage her vocal cords.

The throat tumor kept getting worse and worse so that by summer of 1991 she was forced to leave the group.

The third album (their self titled album), was in fact delayed until 1992 in hopes of Gioia getting her voice back (as they did not realize it was a benign tumor at that time).

In 1997, the tumor disappeared and she was the lead singer for a group called "Wet", before becoming a solo artist until September of 2006...

The good news is that the group is now officially back together (with Gioia!) and many shows are planned for 2007. Expose's official website is: http://www.exposeonline.net

I don't know of any arguments between her and Ann and Jeanette. They always seemed to always get along.

Her daugher name is Brianna and her picture can be seen of Gioia's Myspace page http://www.myspace.com/gioiab

I've seen her one of those "where are they now" shows on VH1, And they did an update on her. I think she did have throat problems, which made it more difficult to sing. I think they said she has a daughter, and she's back into the music scene. I think she's was doing some rock music.
