Many animals are good with kids. Cats that are gentle (check this out for a few minutes before purchasing one) are great. Dogs I would highly recommend are: Beagles, Collies, Shelties, and Labrador Retrievers. Good luck!

if you mean to ask if humans can cross-breed with other forms of animal life, then the answer is "no, not at the current state of medical and scientific knowledge."
who knows 500 years from now, though...we may be seeing veterinarians deliver centaur babies and merchildren
if, on the other hand, you want to know about the types of animals that interact well with human children, then yes there are animals that get along well with humans....

My 10 year old daughter lives in perfect harmony with our 8 parakeets, one betta fish, one african spurred tortoise and 3 cats...and the occasional foster dog. She has been raised around animals since birth and we taught her to be careful because animals can "break".
I'm sure if you have a child, any animals you have will live in harmony too.

The question wasn't very discriptive. What kind of animal would you want with a kid? How old is the kid?

Yep I own a dog, two cats, two guinea pigs, a rabbit, three budgies and fish and we all get along and are best of friends.
