When will the cost of the PS3 go down and how low will it go?

Depends when the cost of it's parts start going down. The BR Drive is quite expensive on its own. Might be a half a year, but probably at least a year before you see the price start to drop significantly.

dont really care. i would buy one at all. they are crap. they are not compatibable with ps1 or ps 2 games. i work at walmart and people have been returning them cause they are freezing up. what a waste of money
