from what i understand, the japanese cartridge of pokemon allowed a download of the old sea chart from hotspots

the mew event was at toys R us on september 30, 2006

It is not avalible in America yet. However, you could've gotten Mew had you gone to Toys R' Us on the correct date this year. Sorry, you can;t get it for a while.

You can't get Mew unless you have a Gameshark.
