For the first year you will be very irregular so this is normal. No need to worry.

everyone is different and a few days is not really a big deal. Stressing about it is going to make it worse. I am on birth control and mine still varies about 3 days. A normal cycle is 28 days, but that doesn't mean you can mark a calender by it.

If it was your first period, it may take months or years for you to regulate yourself out. It is rare for a woman to have a perfect 28 day cycle. I wouldn't really worry until 2 weeks, then you might CONSIDER a Dr visit.

Now that you have started it is a good idea to start your annual gynecologist checkups anyway. (Don't worry, they aren't very bad at all. It's all just nerves... It doesn't hurt, it's just a little awkward.)

dude, periods dont always come on time, especially when you first start. dont worry or stress about it, especially if you havent had sex. you stress about it too much (like obsessively) then your body reacts to the stress, and your period could be later then you expect. but dont worry it will start, just make sure you always carry a feminine product with you!! i think for about a year or two out of my whole life (i am 27) that my periods came regularly. but of course i was in the military, had a kid and under a lot of stress and still are. so dont worry. if you really want to find out if something is wrong, go see you gynocologist!! hope this helps you!!

it usually takes about a year to become regular. don't worry!! stress can also cause you to be late. the best thing to do is keep your cycles on a calender and see how often they come and the date.( you can have periods more or less than once a month in the beginning).honey, you'll be doing this for a long time. as long as you are a virgin there is not too much to worry about. good luck!!!

If you are just starting to have periods, your cycle can be very irregular for a year or more. Also, not everyone has a 28 day cycle. Yours could be shorter or longer. Maybe you and your mom could go buy a book about it. Good reference to have around the house.

You shouldn't worry, periods are often irregular, especially when you've only recently started. Mine are still slightly irregular and i've been having them 11 years! Everybodys different, some people know exactly when they'll start, others don't.

Hope this helps you!

If you have just started your periods they may take a few months to settle down into a normal cycle. When I started, sometimes they came after three weeks, sometimes after six or seven weeks!

Don't worry, just make sure you have towels or tampons with you everywhere you go just in case it starts unexpectedly!

Dont worry about it. Since you just got it, it may be a little different from time to time and you may not see it again for a while. Just relax, your body is doing a lot of changing.
