AVG free 7.5 does many of the same things as Norton antivirus but probably does not go as far. That's what I use and it seems to work fine.

2 very sturdy solutions. i take advantage of Avast domicile version for anti virus, undercover agent Bot for undercover agent ware and CCleaner to maintain the junk below administration. All programmes artwork properly and are unfastened. I defragment weekly and because i've got been doing this have had no issues Technicians dislike Norton because of the fact it is so no longer uncomplicated to eliminate and it has a brilliant form of pointless advantageous properties.

Ever hear of the saying "You get what you pay for"? Re-up with Norton or sign up with another pay-for anti-virus package. Trend Micro or Mc Affee also work well.

Switch to McAfee.
Regardless, you'll have to fork out some cash if you value your contents, it's not worth the time and extra money having to wrestle with ridding the worms and viruses.
Norton will be a pain to uninstall because it's like a guest that comes to visit but never leaves.
Like a turd that won't flush.
