Does anybody worry that future terrorist or vandal attacks could render the Internet unusable for long periods of time -- weeks or even months?

internet security is an oximoron, theres no such thing... ut i doubt that terrorists would target the net.

The Internet is not secure. That is why the government and many laegw banks have thwir own, private connections, things we can never access.
If you manage to bring down a 'master router', then the net stops.

Hidden enemies will always remain a risk. In my opinion the main risk is false propaganda. Main drawback of Internet is spreading of misinformation. We should always be prepared for this hidden enemy.
