It's probably because it's very overwhelming that he is taking care of his family who he will soon be separated from and he has a woman he's taking care of and is not sure how that's going to work out. It makes me claustrophobic just thinking about it. For yourself you don't have those feelings, you are only going through the separation (much easier for a woman than a man). When all is said and done and you'll have your spousal support and child support and you'll be fine, he on the other hand will continue with the stress of it all. Divorce isn't very fun especially for a man, noting is ever resolved especially when children are involved (he will never have the comfort he has now). The bottom line is he wants to stay connected to his family for as long as possible (whether you wanted the divorce or he did), it's a man thing, taking care of the family. Good luck to all of you, I hope I helped to clarify the why?

If he is your "soon 2 be ex" why is he still sleeping on your home? Have the divorce papers being drawn up already? If I knew he had a lady on the side, he would not be able to sleep anywhere near me.

Sounds to me that he needs to go see a therapist..I'm not a therapist it just sounds to me that he is holding a lot of feelings in side and that is how his mind is reacting to it...This happens to a majority of people schizophrenia also! If I was you I would get him to a therapist as soon a possible!!! Before it gets too late!
